GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the "GTC") govern the sale of tickets and, where applicable, services associated with events organized by The Muhammadiya Youth, via the website www.themuhammadiyayouth.org.
Any order placed on the site implies prior and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

2. OBJECT
These GTC aim to define the conditions under which The Muhammadiya Youth offers and sells tickets granting access to the events it organizes.
Each event may be subject to specific conditions concerning in particular:
the date and time;
the program;
the location;
the categories of tickets;
the prices;
the access conditions;
the age restrictions;
any specific admission conditions.
The specific information for each event listed on the site is an integral part of the offer and the contract concluded with the participant.
3. TICKETS AND PRICES
The tickets available for sale and their prices are those displayed on the site at the time of the order.
Prices are indicated in euros and include, where applicable, the applicable taxes and mandatory fees.
When an event offers several categories of tickets, such as regular price, student price, child price, or preferential price, the conditions applicable to each category are specified on the event page.
When a discounted price is subject to a specific condition, such as age or student status, The Muhammadiya Youth may request proof during access control.
In the absence of valid proof, access may be denied or subject to payment of the price difference corresponding to the applicable rate, when this possibility is provided for the event in question.
4. ORDER
The customer selects the event, category, and quantity of tickets desired, then provides the necessary information for the order.
Before final validation, a summary of the order is presented to allow the customer to verify the entered information and, if necessary, correct it.
The order becomes final after its validation and payment confirmation.
An order confirmation is then sent to the email address provided by the customer.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at the time of the order.
The Muhammadiya Youth reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of fraud, attempted fraudulent payment, misuse of the ticketing system, or behavior that is clearly contrary to these terms and conditions.
5. PAYMENT
Payment is made using the payment methods offered on the site at the time of the order.
The price of the ticket must be fully paid at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
The order is only considered confirmed after effective validation of the payment.
When payment is processed by an external payment provider, the customer's banking data is processed in accordance with the terms and privacy policy of the relevant provider.
6. ISSUANCE AND USE OF THE TICKET
When the ticket is issued electronically, it is sent to the email address provided at the time of the order or made available to the customer according to the terms indicated on the site.
The customer is responsible for keeping their ticket and must be able to present it during access control, in electronic or printed format as required for the event.
Each ticket may contain a number, QR code, or other unique identifier.
Unless otherwise stated, a ticket can only be used once. Once checked, a ticket can no longer be used to allow access to another person.
The customer is responsible for the confidentiality of their ticket and any code or identifier allowing its use.
The Muhammadiya Youth cannot be held responsible when a ticket has been copied, transmitted, or used by a third party due to the negligence of the ticket holder.
7. NAMED TICKETS AND TRANSFER
When an event requires named tickets, the name provided at the time of ordering may be subject to verification at the entrance.
Unless otherwise stated, a ticket is valid for one person only.
When a ticket transfer to another person is allowed, any applicable terms are indicated on the event page or communicated by The Muhammadiya Youth.
Professional resale or commercial purposes of tickets without authorization from The Muhammadiya Youth is prohibited.
The Muhammadiya Youth does not guarantee the validity of tickets purchased from unauthorized resellers or platforms.
Any counterfeit, copied, already used, or fraudulently obtained ticket may be refused entry.
8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Exception applicable to event tickets
In accordance with applicable legislation regarding distance contracts, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services when the contract specifies a determined date or period of performance.
This exception particularly concerns tickets granting access to shows or events organized on a specific date.
Consequently, the purchase of a ticket for an event organized on a specific date by The Muhammadiya Youth is firm and final and does not benefit from the legal right of withdrawal of 14 days.
This absence of a right of withdrawal does not deprive the consumer of the rights granted to them by the mandatory provisions of the applicable legislation, particularly in the event of cancellation of the event by the Organizer when the legal conditions for a refund are met.
9. CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF AN EVENT
The Muhammadiya Youth strives to organize events in accordance with the information provided at the time of ticket sales.
However, for reasons beyond its control or for organizational reasons, certain aspects of the event may be modified, including the program, schedules, speakers, or certain practical elements.
When necessary, The Muhammadiya Youth will inform participants as soon as possible and through appropriate means of communication.
9.1. Cancellation
In the event of a definitive cancellation of an event by The Muhammadiya Youth, ticket holders will be informed of the applicable terms.
When The Muhammadiya Youth plans or is legally required to issue a refund, it will be done according to the terms and within the timeframes communicated to ticket holders.
Unless otherwise provided by law or an express decision of The Muhammadiya Youth, personal expenses incurred by the participant in relation to the event, such as transportation, parking, accommodation, or other incidental expenses, are not covered by The Muhammadiya Youth.
9.2. Postponement
In the event of postponement of the event to a new date, The Muhammadiya Youth will communicate the applicable terms to ticket holders.
Unless otherwise stated, tickets originally purchased may remain valid for the new date.
When circumstances or applicable legislation provide for the possibility of a refund, the corresponding terms will be communicated to the participants.
10. NON-REFUNDABLE TICKETS
Subject to applicable legal provisions and the cases expressly provided for in these terms and conditions, tickets are neither returned, exchanged, nor refunded at the request of the customer.
The absence of the participant from the event does not entitle them to a refund when this absence results from personal circumstances.
The following are particularly concerned:
a personal inability to attend the event;
a personal schedule change;
a delay;
a canceled trip or travel;
forgetting the ticket;
losing the ticket;
an error made by the customer when ordering.
This clause does not hinder the rights that the consumer is entitled to under the law.
11. ACCESS CONDITIONS
The holder of a ticket must comply with security rules, the venue regulations, and the instructions given by The Muhammadiya Youth, its staff, or, if applicable, the security personnel.
Access may be refused when:
the ticket is invalid, counterfeit, or already used;
the age requirements applicable to the event are not met;
the participant refuses to comply with safety instructions;
the participant adopts violent, threatening or seriously disruptive behavior;
the participant introduces items prohibited by law, the venue's regulations or the instructions communicated for the event.
A denial of access resulting from the behavior or responsibility of the ticket holder does not automatically entitle them to a refund.
12. STUDENT AND CHILDREN RATES
When specific rates are offered for students, children or other categories of participants, the eligibility conditions are indicated on the event page.
The Muhammadiya Youth may request proof to verify eligibility for the relevant rate.
In the absence of valid proof, the conditions set out in Article 3 of these General Terms and Conditions may be applied.
For events subject to age restrictions or a requirement for accompaniment, the corresponding information is indicated on the event page.
13. LIABILITY
The Muhammadiya Youth implements reasonable means necessary for the proper organization of its events.
The liability of The Muhammadiya Youth cannot be engaged for damages resulting from an event or circumstance that is not attributable to it, within the limits permitted by applicable law.
This clause cannot have the effect of excluding or limiting the mandatory rights granted to the consumer under the law.
Each participant remains responsible for damages they cause intentionally or through negligence to The Muhammadiya Youth, the venue hosting the event, the equipment or third parties.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
The Muhammadiya Youth cannot be held responsible when an event must be modified, postponed, or canceled due to circumstances beyond its control that it could not reasonably foresee or avoid.
Natural disasters, fires, decisions by public authorities, administrative restrictions, serious security issues, or other events that prevent or make the holding of the event dangerous may be particularly affected, depending on the circumstances.
In case of force majeure, The Muhammadiya Youth will inform participants of the measures taken and, when possible, any potential rescheduling or refund options.
15. PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS, AND RIGHT TO IMAGE
As part of its activities and events, The Muhammadiya Youth may take photographs or video recordings intended to document its activities and ensure their communication.
The terms regarding the use of participants' images are applied in accordance with applicable Belgian legislation.
When necessary, participants are informed of the specific terms applicable to the event.

16. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Personal data collected during the order is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection legislation.

18. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, The Muhammadiya Youth and the consumer will strive, as far as possible, to seek an amicable solution beforehand.
Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute may be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the applicable rules of jurisdiction.
No provision of these General Terms and Conditions deprives the consumer of the rights granted to them imperatively by the applicable legislation.
19. ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Before finalizing their order, the customer must be able to review these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The validation of the order implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.
When the ordering system provides for it, the customer must check a separate box such as:

The applicable GTC are those in effect on the date of the order.
